Surah Al- Fatiha
It is so understandable that all the Surahs of the Holy Quran are the healing to humankind, and have all the spiritual solutions to the human world. However, Surah Al- Fatiha is special in contrast to all other Surahs. Surah Al- Fatiha is one of the shortest. Durood Sharif.
It is the healing of all inner and external diseases. Allah (SWT) says to his prophet in his book: “indeed, we have given you the seven-repeated verses and the glorious Quran.” (Quran, ch 15, ver 87).
The commentators of the Quran provide various explanations for this verse indicating what it means by the seven-repeated verses. But according to the majority of them including Ibn Jarir, from the seven-repeated verses, the Surah Al- Fatiha is meant. Because, it has seven verses (including Bismillah), and it is recited in every Fardh and Nafal Salah repeatedly Dua To Convince Your Parents Of Love Marriage.
These scholars bring the hadith of the prophet of Allah (SAW) as proof for their claim, which can be found in Sahih Bukhari. Abu Said (RA) reports that the prophet of Allah (SAW) told me: I will tell you about the most glorious Surah of the Quran before we go out of the Masjeed (since they were in Masjeed).
But in a while, when the prophet of Allah (SAW) was going out of the Masjeed (and he forgot about his talk), so, I reminded him about the glorious Surah of the Quran. So, the prophet (SAW) said: it is the Surah Al- Fatiha. This is the Surah having seven repeated verses, and this is (as beneficial as) the whole Quran.
Also, there are other Ahadith of the prophet (SAW) indicating that the Surah Al- Fatiha is the Saba’ Al- Masani (seven-repeated verses), and reciting it has as many rewards as reciting the entire Quran. Thus, this is enough for showing the ranks of this Surah. Following is the Surah, and its translation:
Translation of Surah Al- Fatiha
In the name of Allah who is All-Merciful and So-Compassionate. All praise is for Allah, the lord of the universe. The most merciful and So-Compassionate. The Lord of the Day of Requital. Only you, we do worship, and from you alone, we seek assistance. Guide us to the straight path. The path of whom you have blessed your grace, not of those who have become astray.
Note: Surah Al- Fatiha is named because Fatiha means the opener, and since, the Quran starts with this Surah, or this is the opener of the Quran, so it is called Surah Al- Fatiha.
